Volunteer
We have been Volunteer run since the very beginning and need more volunteers
to grow as an organization!
Essential Volunteer Needs:
We ask that you can commit at least a 3 months to volunteering, as these options require a fair bit of training.
Librarians: Our librarians keep our doors open! You’ll be an instrumental part of the library: building order for members, checking tools in and out, and keeping up our daily operations.
- Using our inventory software to view member reservations, check tools in and out, and complete transactions.
- Understand our policies in order to answer member questions.
Maintenance Department: Our dedicated Maintenance staff repair and maintain all our tools, including small engine repair (lawn mowers, tillers, etc.)
- Keep up tools with ongoing maintenance.
- Use our inventory software to update tools with maintenance history.
- Work independently or with other volunteers to repair tools according to your ability.

Short Term Opportunities
Submit the form to volunteer, and indicate that you would like to find out about shorter-term volunteer opportunities.
Once trained, most of these opportunities can be done with no contact with other volunteers, if preferred.
