Since we first opened our doors to the community of Asheville, we’ve grown so fast that we outgrew our modest space on Church St in downtown Asheville.
We, the librarians at Asheville Tool Library, are now a group of 15 active volunteers. We are delighted to make the following announcement:
AVLTL is having our Asheville Tool Library Grand Re-Opening & Fundraiser on Aug 4th, 2018 at our new, bigger and better space at 55 Southside Ave – only a few minutes from our former location on Church St!
On Aug 4th, everyone in the community is invited to come see our new space, hang out, have a beer, become a member, and check out some tools for your next big project!
Our goal is to raise additional funds to support:
- our continued growth
- complete renovations of the new space
- more tools for library members to use
- expanding our open operating hours
**Please note that we are not open for regular hours currently. The Asheville Tool Library is closed while we complete our move-in until our Grand Re-Opening on August 4, 2018.**
